Listening or Reading? Which is better to improve Speaking?

On the 17th episode of Your Question, we handle the following question:

Q: Which is better to improve speaking? Listening or reading?

Here are my thoughts and suggestions:

Of course both are important for developing knowledge and fluency in a foreign language. Both reading and listening have advantages and disadvantages. Since listening is related to speaking in terms of their aural qualities, listening can help you with pronunciation, intonation, and pacing. On the other hand, reading can help you build vocabulary and phrases that you can use. If I have to choose only one, which one would I choose? Watch this episode and find out!
