Now that you are familiar with the concept of Active Listening from the previous post (Power Conversation Part 3b), we will talk about how to use this concept in your real daily conversations.

  • silence
  • a confused look on their face

Power Conversation: How to Start a Conversation with Confidence (Part 2 of 3)

Here are some of the comments I hear from students everyday:

  • “I’m so nervous when I meet someone new, I don’t know what to say.”
  • “I don’t know how to start a conversation naturally.”
  • “I can introduce myself, but I have no idea how to continue a conversation.”
  • “I don’t know what questions to ask.”
