In one of my recent lessons with a student, we were curious about which movies had made the most money in sales worldwide. To my surprise, we found out that “Furious 7” was 5th on that list! If you’re not familiar with the title, “Furious 7” is the 7th movie in the series which started with “The Fast and the Furious” back in 2001. It stars Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker in his final film. I really enjoyed the first six movies in the series so what more could they do in “Furious 7”? I was more than excited to find out! Here is my review.

“Elysium” is a science fiction/action movie starring Matt Damon. For those who are unfamiliar, “The Hobbit” is a book written by J.R.R. Tolkien to complement his “Lord of the Rings” series. It is the tale of a younger Bilbo Baggins and his adventures with the One Ring and was originally aimed for children. There was a popular animated version of this story made into a movie so being a huge fan of the book, that film, and the “Lord of the Rings” movies, I was anxiously awaiting the release of this movie. Was it as good as I hoped?

I had been looking forward to this movie for a long time. Of course the story of Superman is very intriguing for me and I am a fan of the original movies plus the TV show “Smallville” about Clark Kent as a high school student. So how was “Man of Steel”?

SEINFELD Review 「となりのサインフェルド」

Students always ask me what movies or TV shows they should use to study English. I usually suggest a comedy or drama that is about a family or that deals with everyday life situations because there are not so many technical or specialist words and expressions.

So which TV program do I always highly recommend? Find out–>
