On the 7th episode of Speaking Skills, we learn how to develop this skill:

Interrupting

In some cultures, it is considered rude to interrupt someone during a conversation. How about for Western culture? Is it OK to interrupt someone? What are some situations that we might need to interrupt someone? If we want to interrupt someone, how can we do it with politeness and respect?

1. Directly Interrupting
I’m sorry, but I need to say something.
Excuse me, but I have to interrupt you.

2. Indirectly Interrupting
I’m sorry, but could I say something?
Excuse me, but could I ask a question?
