Aloha everyone!

Back in 2005, I got my first inspiration for starting a podcast by discovering university audio lectures online. Shortly after that, my hometown sports radio station started releasing their daily broadcasts that the public could download. These were among the first “Podcasts” to be made.

In 2008, I recorded the intro to my first podcast called, “Use it or Lose it English” on a video camera but I never completed a full episode.

In 2010, I tried podcasting again with an audio podcast with me reading the news and giving my opinion and explaining difficult vocabulary. Again, that failed.

Finally in 2011, after a lot of trial and error, I recorded the first episode of the “English 2.0 Podcast” on my iPhone 4. This time, I released it to the world.

Over the past 9 years, the English 2.0 Podcast has been downloaded over 1.3 million times in over 190 countries from around the world!

First, I want to say, “Thank you” to everyone who has been part of this journey.
Second, I want to make sure that I am serving you at the highest level possible as the English 2.0 Podcast moves into the future.

I’m asking a small favor of my listeners to do one of the following three options to help support the show:
1. Please take a 1-minute survey – click here
2. Please share the podcast with a friend, classmate, or colleague
3. Please leave a review and rating – on Apple Podcasts or Stitcher

Thank you and I look forward to some awesome future episodes of the English 2.0 Podcast!
